Boarding Instructions

Take the bridge stairs down to the canal at the IU Kuhn Studios and go to the right. We are the second building on the canal at Fresco Cafe. Park at the meters on Indiana Avenue for $1/hour.

Private Events

Weddings, tour buses, and teams, oh my! These events and more can be scheduled to depart from Fresco Cafe and other locations on the canal, including the Indiana State Museum, The Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites, The Indiana Historical Society, The Eiteljorg Museum, NCAA Hall of Fame, The Marriott Residence Inn, and Canal Pointe, at an hourly rate.

Weddings

Arrive at your wedding, depart from your wedding, or even get married on the gondola with one of our specialty officiants! Call for details and personalized options. Weddings taking place outside our Fresco location, or after 9pm, require a one-hour minimum charge. Add one of our in-house wedding officiants (Derek Gould, Victoria Geiger or Ben Jones) to any private gondola wedding for $150, or bring your own!

Tour Buses/Teams

For groups of 24 or more, for 30 minute rides. Use all of our boats at the same time by calling in advance. Great for Conventions, Teams, Tour Bus and Museum Events! For large groups only: Add a pre-ordered meal prepared by Fresco Cafe includes: 1/2 Italian Sub, Salad, a scoop of Italian Ice, and a choice of non-alcoholic fountain drink, iced tea or lemonade. Call to pre-arrange! Meals are only $15/person.

Get a taste of Italian street food and drink! Note: The café does not always follow the same hours as Old World Gondoliers.
Fresco Hours - Open daily at 11am
All sales are final and there are no refunds. Purchased rides can be changed to another date and are good through the 2025 season. Rides can also be given as gifts. In the event of heavy rain/wind, rides may be rescheduled or switched to covered boats.
